block_id should be unique for each message and each iteration of a message. The emoji displays in the channel, and now users can post reactions to your message. Click the emoji icon and press 'Enter' to post it to the current channel. Maximum length for this field is 255 characters. When you hover over any image, Slack tells you the name of the emoji so that you can type it into the message text box next time you use it.
